Does it work for newsletters?
Yes, as long as you send to your own list with the required consent. In MailShogun, you can create lists, import contacts and prepare campaigns. Each campaign requires an unsubscribe link; subscription forms can stay on your website or in the tool you already use. See the terms of service.
Do I have to touch the mail I already use?
No. Your everyday email stays the same. MailShogun handles the email sent by your website or campaign tool.
How long does it take to set up?
Adding the domain and publishing DNS take minutes. To send, you need a volume tier and a card. The panel guides you, and if you get stuck we help by ticket.
What happens if I go over my emails?
Your plan is charged when you start and renews on the 1st. We let you know at 80%. To go beyond your tier, choose an extra allowance of €0, €5 or €10; it sets the maximum above your tier. Without an extra allowance, sending stops when the tier is reached.
And if my email bounces a lot?
We count bounces per domain. If thresholds are exceeded, we pause sending to help protect your reputation. The history shows which addresses fail.
